Hello! My name is Courtney Trelow. I was born and raised in central Illinois. I have always found joy in fitness and helping others. My passion began at a young age as a multi-sport athlete taking on gymnastics, track and field, volleyball, and softball.
My love for sports and living an active lifestyle led me to pursue my Bachelors in Exercise Science and Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville - where I met my husband, Adam (you’ll see find on the Cape team). Throughout my undergrad and masters, I lead two research teams involved in the accuracy of Garmin and Polar Smart watches which resulted in my first 4 publications. Throughout my collegiate years, I started CrossFit to keep up with my fitness and competitive side. Aside from revolving my life around health, fitness and helping others reach their goals, I enjoy my photography business on the side and spoiling our 2 dogs.
In regard to my fitness career, I have worked with all ages and fitness levels, ranging from athletes to special needs kids to geriatric hip fracture patients to the everyday working individual. I have experience doing group fitness, personal training, small group personal training, coaching, CrossFit and everything in between.
My mission in life is to change lives. I am so happy to be a part of the Platinum Fitness team and help each and every single one of you meet your goals.
