I am passionate about many things in my life, but fitness, health and wellness, and helping others have always been at the top of the list. I have my dad to thank for getting me into the gym when I was thirteen years old. I did not have the slightest clue what I was doing, but the idea of taking control of my body and the feeling of self-improvement was intoxicating. By the time I was fifteen, I was working out with my best friend, trying new routines, changing the way I was eating and learning how I could be the catalyst for changing my body. I was hooked. It was this passion that drove me to study towards and acquire a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Central Michigan University. I attended THE Ohio State University and acquired my Doctor of Physical Therapy. I was able to personally train clients at a very unique fitness studio while taking my physical therapy classes and helped numerous clients achieve their goals. Also while at OSU, I discovered another passion—neurologic physical therapy. I am a licensed physical therapist and a board-certified Neurologic Specialist. I have spent the first six years of my career using the principles of exercise and physical fitness to help hundreds of people recover from various injuries ranging from ACL tear and hip fracture to stroke and brain injury. Regardless of the condition—obesity, body image issues, or injury—there is no greater high than helping another person overcome struggle and reach their goals.

I am so excited to partner with Aaron and the Platinum Fitness family to continue to change the lives of individuals and families all over SWFL and beyond.
